We checked out on Friday July 3rd. We had a wonderful 4 days staying at the San Clemente Inn! The entire family of 12 had a fantastic time enjoying all of the amenities the property and the beach had to offer. We will definitely be returning for another vacation!

If you like spending a lot of money on an old, stale smelling room with constant noise from adjacent freeway and highways then this is the place for you. Oh yeah, and for this privileged accommodation which we traded a real first class timeshare for, we were charged 25 dollars a night for parking!
Never again.
Stop charging luxury resort level fees for a run down, maintenance neglected room. At least you'll know you got what you paid for.

Had a bad experience checking in so my overall take is tainted by that. I'll try to be objective. Facility is nice, felt very upscale considering the price. Location fantastic. There were games to check out (pickle ball, pool) that was all well maintained as far as I could see. Parking was easy even for larger vehicles (not a given around here). Didn't enjoy interactions with staff, but that could have been a one off day. Rooms were a bit different than I am used to (we had a suite that was a bit strange in the layout) but nice enough furnishings.
